The meeting of Team One! [Team One Only]

So the day had finally arrived when Gorina was to meet the young ones that he was tasked to lead, eh? Took 'em long enough. One would think that being appointed as a team leader and actually getting a team would nearly be synonymous, alas that was not the case and quite a few trees had met their demise in the man's down time. Assuming the three runts actually lived up to standards then for the time being the foliage around Yokuchi would be able to stand another day, though that was an uncertainty.

The Jounin had not just arrived from a mission, or even walked cross-village to get to the Academy; he had been in the building the entire time. The teachers lounge, to be exact, simply awaiting for the designated time to arrive before making his way to the assigned room. For some odd reason he wanted the three to interact for a little bit before things got started, assuming they weren't too nervous to speak. Gorina rose from his seat and glanced over to a clock, the time had come. Picking Samehada up with a single hand, the Jounin latched the sword on his back and slowly made his way out of one room while heading for the next.

As he neared the form of a young male came into view, normally mundane, though his hand seemed to be placed on a weapon of sorts. Interesting. Silently making his way behind the kid, Gorina stopped about a foot and some change short as a wicked grin formed on his face. "You plan on using that, kid?" The man inquired as he peered down on the young one.

Next, a step, followed by another, right in the direction of the boy. If he didn't back up or move out of the way he was liable to get ran over. Regardless of the outcome, Gorina forced his way into the room and almost immediately caught sight of the other two, one sitting on top of the other. Ah, now it all made sense. A hand reached up to grab the hilt of Samehada and with a fierce swing crashed into the nearest wooden desk, easily splintering it. "Front and center, all of you!" He bellowed, the smirk disappearing in an instant.

"Names and a goal." Gorina spoke while latching his sword to his back. Less than thirty seconds and it was clear to see that this was going to be a major work in progress.

Gorina looked over the three young Genin as they stood next to each other, at least they could follow simple commands. He didn't really care what their names or goals were because if they didn't show appropriate effort then a trip back to the academy was the next logical step. As he figured, each had a different personality on them, that much could be garnered from the tone in their voices, and it was clear that the white haired ones' attitude was going to be an issue... and a liability for future missions. Alas, they were still young and had much room to grow, but it was clear that keeping their emotions in check was going to be a tall task.

"How exactly do you intend to accomplish any goal while sitting on another persons lap, or having a lethargic attitude about your assignment, or even thinking about brandishing a weapon against your comrades?" Rhetorical in nature and hopefully an eye opener for their dumb actions. If there was any kind of puppy love triangle starting to form the Jounin would be sure to squash it here and now. Though the team assignments weren't random by any means there was now way for the young ones to know who they'd be assigned with, and up to this point in their lives they could all be merry with one another and build whatever bonds; albeit it seemed these were a bit stronger than usual.

"Tera, walk back to the window and show me a skill. Need ta know what I'm working with before we start heading out on missions. You two will follow after she's done." The man spoke once more. Of course their files held all pertinent information but considering the three's history Gorina wanted to see if they'd end up over exerting themselves to either impress or outdo each other as hot headed kids are prone to doing.

The window in question was on the opposite side of the room and left plenty of space to move about and not put anyone in danger of getting caught in the crossfire. Sure, firing off techniques in a building probably wasn't the best idea, but Gorina couldn't be bothered to care. Besides, this was a better option than having a 3 on 1 as the Jounin may have went a tad overboard. This was not only a growing experience for the Genin since now a life long warrior had to scale back his intensity to nurture the next generation. He'd never admit it, of course, but the now-sensei was actually looking forward to the challenge.
