OOC RULES --
1. Follow the Proboards ToS.
2. Do not ask to be a member of the staff team. Current staff will either open applications or discuss amongst themselves who should be hired. Asking is the number one way to ensure you never get the opportunity.
3. Do not bother members of the staff team to review your character or customs, especially not in the chat. Staff members have lives too. If you have gone more than five days without a review, then you may PM a member of staff to review it.
4. Be on your best behavior. No excessive swearing, passive-aggressive or overly sexual behavior, flaming, trolling, or anything of the sort is allowed on the forum or in the chat.
5. Be original! Don't steal characters and customs, and don't use templates and graphics without their credits/permission.
6. One character per account. For multiple characters, you must have multiple accounts. This makes it easier for everyone to keep track of the different characters.
7. The display name of your account should be your character's name in Last Name First Name format (Ex.: Uchiha Itachi).
9. Signatures should contain no outside links, pornographic or violent imagery, or be larger than 300x500. Signatures must contain a link to your approved character profile.
10. Before resorting to asking the staff questions in PC or PM, please post your questions in the help board. That way if later down the line someone has the same question they can refer to that thread for the answer. Please do not provide other players the wrong information, that can be a hundred times worse than no information. If you don't know then don't try to help.
11. In chat please ask people if they mind spoilers before you give away information for any fandom if you're far ahead. Many people do not appreciate spoilers and not adhering to this rule may result in a three hour ban from chat that will add two hours every time to break it.

IC RULES --
1. We have a word count minimum of 100 words per post. Please make sure that all of your posts meet the requirement before posting.
2. No god-moding, powerplaying, bunnying, or metagaming. If you're unsure what these terms mean, it's easy to find out - use Google.
3. We allow liquid time, so long as it's reasonable.
4. You are allowed a max of three characters per country with the exception being rogues and rurouni. You are only allowed one rogue/rurouni.
5. You are not allowed to kill another player's character unless the thread is labeled DE, or death enabled. The exception to this rule is rogue shinobi, who are in danger of death in every thread.
6. In the case of a fight, please list every technique you use.
7. We have a chakra system on this site. You start at 100% with a specific amount of chakra reserves, and you go down from there when you use a jutsu. Plus or minus depending on your chakra control. It's that simple! <3 But unless you have an ability that grants large chakra reserves, you are not going to be throwing around a ton of powerful techniques without repercussions. If a staff member believes you are being unrealistic about your character's well-being (being fighting fit at 10% chakra), you will lose the fight and (very, very rarely) have a chance of dying from chakra exhaustion.
8. Characters are not allowed to have more than two S-Rank skills at the time of creation.
9. Face Claims cannot be of canon characters. This is because the forum is based 900 years after the Great World War. All of the canon characters' lives (except for maybe a select few) have run their course, and as such are dead.
10. In regards to clans, if you do not see a canon clan that you want in the records and want a character from that clan, please make the clan page as well. It will then be up to you where that clan ends up being based. Will they be in one village or scattered?
11. In regards to Doujutsu Kekkei Genkai. If you steal a doujutsu, as long as you learn how to use the kekkei genkai appropriately the evolution of said Doujutsu will permanently remain the same unless the person you attain the Doujutsu from is still alive and manages to upgrade their remaining eye. For instance if you get Sharingan at two tomoe, it will permanently remain two tomoe unless the original Uchiha attains the next level of sharingan. This does not apply for members of the same clan though.
12. In regards of posting, after one week of not posting, members of said group roleplay are allowed to skip the person they have been waiting on. This is to prevent hindering of roleplay in any way possible. This rule is different in group plots. If it has been two days you will be skipped, no exceptions. If you take too long or make people wait one too many times Staff reserves the right to take over your character and control it for duration of that roleplay. We're not going to let ones behavior hurt everyone else's progression
