It had been three years since she had found a place to call home again. The Village of Agony; it still seemed a little odd to her that a gentle soul such as herself could have any place in a village like this, one that was, to say the least, a little rough around the edges. She still didn't have the taste for violence that many of her fellow ANBU did, and she doubted she ever would. All the same, she knew what her job was, she did it, and she did it well, without complaint. And she felt that she at least got a little respect from her comrades for it, if little else.
Being far from a social butterfly, even after she had settled in to her new home, the white-haired woman still hadn't made any friends. Her only companionship was with her comrades in the ANBU, and they weren't always the most friendly or talkative of people. In fact, they were quite often the exact opposite. So, yes, perhaps she was a little lonely, but that was alright.
It was a lovely day, the first sunny afternoon in a little while, and she wanted to enjoy it, actually take a little time to relax. Of course, she still had a few small tasks to take care of - mainly replenishing her stock of medicinal ointments and other medical supplies. At times she still thought her true calling was in the medical field... but the thought of speaking both to the Captain and the (rather scary) Head Medic about her feelings was almost inconceivable to her. She was lucky to have a place in the village as it was; she had a place in shinobi forces through the Captain's goodwill, and to turn her back on that would go against her philosophy as a shinobi.
After a good hour or two of shopping - she was incredibly picky about where she got her supplies, and thus it took a little while to find something acceptable - she took her bags and headed to the park, thinking of sunning for a while before she headed back to her home and the peaceful solitude of a book.
