Bounty System
-----
-----
As warriors (shinobi, samurai, ect...) make a name for themselves in this world, a monetary value ends up being placed on their heads for various reasons. This in turn ends up with the warrior being placed on a hit list commonly referred to as the bingo book, where, depending on the monetary value on their heads, they may attract unwanted attention and pursuers. If these warriors with the high bounties are killed, their corpse can then be taken to one of several bounty offices across the lands to be exchanged for the monetary value that was placed on their head. However depending on where you turn in the body you might net more reward, especially if you turn the body in to a bounty office loyal to the nation they're in and the person was rogue from said nation. In some cases, fulfilling special requirements may also net more of a reward. A few reward bonuses are as follows:
-Rogue Warrior Retrieval
-Loyal Office, home nation (5000 RYO)
-Non-Loyal Office, home nation (2000 RYO)
-Non-Loyal Office, enemy nation (3000 RYO)
-Loyal Office, enemy nation (4000 RYO)
-Loyal Warrior Retrieval
-Loyal-Office, home nation (2500 RYO)
-Non-Loyal Office, home nation (3000 RYO)
-Loyal Office, enemy nation (5000 RYO)
Every now and then there will be new targets added to the bingo book for people to track down. In the process of tracking down these targets the hunter is allowed to undergo a trial for tracking down said target and eliminating them, however during the process of this trial anyone loyal to the nation the hunter is in or rogue may enter the trial and completely throw a monkey wrench into the hunter's plans. In some cases these other players can even steal the bounty and completely prevent the hunter from attaining the bounty, however in such case the hunter will receive a reward of x2 EXP and x1 RYO for their efforts.
However, targets like this will be hard to come by and as such people will most likely be going after other people's characters. How do we determine what a person's bounty will be though? Well there are several conditions you need to look into and should always make note of when turning in rps to staff. A few conditions are as follows:
- Defection from Village (10,000 RYO)
Leaving your village indefinitely without permissionCausing another person loyal to a village, not necessarily shinobi or samurai, to be injured
- Assault
- Civilian (1,000 RYO)
- Official (1,500 RYO)
- Shinobi/Samurai (2,000 RYO)
- Leader (50,000 RYO)
- Elder (30,000 RYO)
- Murder
- Civilian (2,500 RYO)
- Official (3,750 RYO)
- Shinobi/Samurai (5,000 RYO)
- Leader (125,000 RYO)
- Elder (75,000 RYO)
- Affiliation (500 RYO)
Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer, however don't be caught with them. Loyal only.
- Grudge (500+ RYO, varies)
