ACTIONS why talk when actions speak louder?  On cue Ai would finally show up, to which brought a smile to Rina’s lips as she would stretch her arms “I know, I know… but it’s me you’re talking about, you know that I act how I please… But I won’t be rude, you can be assured of that…” she’d say, munching on one of the pastries before she heard Ai mentioning Byakko, causing her to choke slightly on the piece she had on before swallowing it. It almost seemed like the Mistress was alarmed at the fact Byakko was going to be there, or was it something else entirely? Even so she would reach for the box’s lid and closed it up so that they wouldn’t catch the ey of birds and the like as she slowly got up “Even if Byakko had not told you to attend, I would’ve told you to” she’d say before closing her eyes, patting a few leaves off her kimono before hearing Ai’s comment “hm? Yeah me too…” she’d mutter, almost absent minded. It was when Byakko arrived that the Mistress would assume a whole new demeanor to herself as she would bow, both to Byakko and their visitors “Morning to you, Lord Byakko” she’d say before straightening herself and looked over to the newly arrived group with a small smile on her lips “Welcome to Yokuchigakure, travelers. It is a pleasure to have you visit. My name is Rina, from the Mitsuko clan and I run this little patch of forest we call heaven.” She’d say before motioning over to Ai “I’m sure you have met Ai here , of the Hyuuga clan, my jounin hanchou and former sensei…” and then she would motion the same hand over to Byakko “And of course, Byakko here of the Tama clan, one of the members of the council of this village.” The female stopped before crossing her arms, not in an annoyed stance but a neutral one “Please, may I ask who am I addressing to today? And what manner of business brought you here?” she’d say before she’d lower her head “Oh dear where are my manners, please, take a seat, no need to stand. I am sure your legs are tired from your trip, after all” Rina was being polite, even if she would look around momentarily before looking back at the visitors with still that polite smile of hers.
