and every night i look at the stars out my window and i hope i can see the one that we saw together
The day was young, the sun was shining, and she was sprawled out on a rooftop in the sun.
Life as a shinobi certainly wasn't as glamorous as she had thought it would be from all the stories she had heard as a little girl. Maybe that was to be expected, though. Everything in fiction was sensationalized and glamored up so it was more exciting to listen to. And people's stories were fiction, even if they thought them to be truth, because as a story was told, it was always distorted.
She sighed softly. Nor was it as busy as she had thought it would be... not right now, anyway. And being bored just wasn't fun.
Hisoka didn't know what to do with herself, to be honest. So, sunning it was. Maybe, if someone happened upon the rooftop, they could do something together... but, unless the person was another genin, they probably wouldn't want to hang out with her,
Not to mention a lot of the chuunin and jounin were really, really scary.
Considering that for a moment, the brunette decided to abandon the rooftop for greener pastures and go take a walk in the park or something. She would be more likely to find someone to hang out with there anyway...

A small redheaded girl could be seen walking down the streets out Ounou. A black trench coat over her body as her bright red eyes reflected the sunlight off of them, making it seem like she had a fire in her eyes. A few people looking at her, not often was it that the Kamina's Daughter was out an about in the town alone, regardless of being a genin. Normally she was training or studying, really quite variant based on what was going on at the time and her own mood. Taking a small breath, she would raise her head to look at the building next to her, she would close her eyes as she placed her foot against a piece of wood, her trench coat seeming to push downwards around her small frame as she landed up on the roof. Her arms in her pockets are she walked over to the girl..It wasn't so much that she knew she was there, it was more so the fact she herself wanted to do some relaxing, so rarely did she ever get to the chance to get out of the house for more than an hour. "Hi..." she'd state, the sunlight still bouncing off of her eyes and now her hair more so than ever, giving it appearance that she was literally on fire in the areas, before she would brush her coat off.
"How are you?" she'd ask in a rather soft tone, as to not scare the girl, the girl seemed around her age...And she knew that a lot of the kids her age were rather jumpy outside of her considering she wasn't really scared of anything. She would look at the ground next to her, "May I join.." she'd ask, a little confused as to what the girl was doing, but just figured she'd go along with it anyways, if allowed that was.

Thankfully, the temperature was pleasant, and the breeze was light. It felt nice to be outside, unlike some days. A smile came to her face just from that simple pleasure. Sometimes it was nice to just enjoy being outside, not even do anything, just bask in the pleasantry of nature.
Of course, if she ever said that to anyone, they would probably laugh at her.
She was pondering whether she wanted to take a walk or sprawl out somewhere and continue sunning when someone walked up behind her and just about startled her out of her skin. She whirled around, eyes wide... To find a little redhead a few inches shorter than herself. "Uhm, h-hi," she murmured, feeling a little awkward that she'd let the redhead scare her like that.
Folding her arms over her chest - the only part of her that had decided it might be nice to actually look like she was fourteen, which could also be a little embarrassing at times, but that was a story for another day - she bit her lip. "Uh, I'm good... j-just a little bored... how are you?" she asked in return, merely nodding when the girl asked if she could join her.
