A single drop of blood is all I need, you see..
... To paint a masterpiece out of your Misery
Dusk. Sunset was more than gone by now as one Sayuri Akira would be exiting that one bedroom apartment she had managed to acquire. Closing the door behind her, the female would be wearing a pair of black skin tight leggings, black boots, a red button up shirt and her pitch black hoodie. Why the get up? Simple. It was time for her to depart on assignment, an espionage assignment no less. Man it had been a while since she had been given an espionage job and truth be told she was a bit excited; she was downright jumping for join when she received the mission… AFTER she got home, that was. She’d look around, seeing she was alone before slipping on her ANBU mask and then hoodie over her head. No eye patch today. She needed to grow out of the habit of using the damn thing. That and she had a mask on, that would just a tiny bit too annoying. And she was off.
Up the stairs of the complex and to the roof, she’d make her way out of the village via rooftops, relying on her skill on shunshin to aid her on the way there. It would be an hour’s worth of a trek to the place she needed to go, even if she took the path of the trees, keeping herself to the shadows. Her outfit helped to say the least, she was happy for the opportunity to wear it again, she had acquired it for this particular purpose after all. Uh apparently Akira new when to dress to kill…
Okay she was there now what? The girl stopped, thinking on the details she’d been given before she’d wait until a couple passed the path beneath her and she’d drop down. Zenseijidai town… there was nothing big about it, it was a small town in Makai no Kuni with little to give or take, ense why it mostly passed under the damn radar for most operations. The girl quickly put herself to worl and made her way over to an alley, hearing footsteps coming. She knew this was the point of meeting for her targets so she would slowly hide behind a large crate nearby, using her size and the shadows for her advantage. What she heard was not what she expected.
Instead of the targets, what was there was a couple making out. Ew… why in an alley of all things. Fuck. And it was just about time for the meeting. Damn it. Had a wrench been tossed into her progress? She hoped not. She couldn’t afford to return empty handed, Ryou would have her head… that or just force her to fight him to the point of exhaustion. She would wait until the two of them were distracted before jumping up swiftly to a nearby roof, reaching for the ledge and crouching down, keeping a close eye on all movement on the streets. The woman had too much at stake and had made the trip to here to just give up and go home empty handed.
It was then when she saw a group of rowdy man, presumidly drunkards reach for the alley, getting the two lovers out of there and gathering up. They seemed too stupid to be running the operation alone. Something told her they were waiting on the head of the operation. Not a moment too soon two more men joined the group. They acted and dressed differently but one of them had a symbol on the back of his coat. The girl knew that symbol; it was one of Ounougakure’s noble family symbols. She’d take note of this before starting to hear the whole busyness transaction. This was vague, not to say the details didn’t help much, she needed to know more. What she was waiting on was a place of where they were settled so she could find some more information, maybe steal documents in the process for her report so this operation could be shut down after all.
This went on for half an hour, arguments about pay, about needing more people to help. And then came a key point, the merchandise… A twitch appeared on Akira’s left eye beneath her mask as she took a deep sigh and tried to focus. They were trafficking young girls from the ages of sixteen to twenty three to greedy noblemen that wanted harems. Ok she wanted to kill someone now but she had a job to do… she’d have to hold off the killing spree for another time.
All she needs is a place…. That’s all she needs…. C’mon…. And boom, there they said it. The warehouse on the other side of town. That’s where she was heading next. Quickly she would get up and silently started to make her way over the roofs to her objective, a burning rage in her soul. She could kill them all right there and then but… No she couldn’t risk her operation like that. Being spotted and having to kill the suspects would just get her in more trouble than she needed right now as she made her way through the small town to her newest objective. One rooftop of distance she’d stare at the warehouse, trying to access the best way to go in right now.
