RUNES where's my leaf special?  Allen would wake up and yawn, it had been a long day yesterday, far too long it seemed like the day would never end given away the amount of chores he had done. Walking around Rina’s house slowly getting things he needed for his day out, he would start by washing his old clothes, slowly cleaning them and making sure any marks from yesterday’s work no longer existed on the clothing, once he had done that he would proceed to bathe himself while in the water of the shower he would sigh slightly thinking over runes which could help him he was obsessed with the current runes he wanted one being glass which was simplest to do being sand + fire, and sand being merely earth cut down by wind or water to very small chunks. The other being Plasma and that was the harder part, he was still debating if plasma was alive like fire was or technically was. It took some consideration really if he messed up he could blow himself up or worse, fail to burn or blow someone else up! All be it he shouldn’t be taking risks of making runes in a fight, the process itself took a considerable time and thus most likely wouldn’t work in a fight. He could have the time to draw runes from memory however that’s different from making a new rune from scratch. He would dry himself off, walking out of the shower room after getting dressed and ready to get his research on, when there was a knock at the door downstairs, he slowly moved down there, his boots tapping against the wooden stairs, as he got down there he would slowly open the thick wooden door to see a delivery man, which once Allen saw him he would notice he was carrying books that Allen had requested the day before, he hadn’t had time to think about them just yet, after all by the time he got home he was so tired from the ordeal that he had chosen just to sleep which was for the best considering what had happened. The Delivery man bowed his head towards Allen placing the books just inside the front door for him he would then speak softly towards Allen saying; “Hey these books are for an Allen? I am told he lives here so I was to drop them off here, once I had done that I was to get him to sign this board which I’ll give you in a moment to sign your name. It’s just to inform my manager I dropped of the item and didn’t steal it not that id want to steal those books.” Allen would nod his head and wait for the man to send the paperwork to him once it had been done Allen took hold of the pad and pulled it towards himself gently before signing the bits where he had to sign and handing it back the man read the name and reached into his pocket pulling out a little list “I thought you was Allen! Your name is pretty popular for the amount of chores you did yesterday so if you don’t mind, people have already got a few for you to do. There is more than a few on here however some of them are pretty long others aren’t so please do not feel like you have to do any of them after all its up to you if you want to do them, I can totally understand you not wanting to do too much after all you worked your backside off all day.” Allen smiled towards the man and nodded his head shyly taking the bit of paper the man was holding before reading it and blinking there was tons of chores on here to do! How did they think he was going to do all of these today, there was literally a whole page full. Just to check Allen turned the page over to see if the chore list went on and it did, he sighed softly and was about to speak to the man who had given him the note but he had seemingly vanished from sight. Allen sighed and decided to go to the first Job on the list, capturing loose animals within the confines of the town, it wouldn’t be hard as he was feeling much stronger today than he had done in months if not years. Maybe all that food and rest was actually paying off for him. Regardless he slipped his Tonfas into the respective places on his belt before taking the books up to his room and placing them on his desk. He sighed softly as he did, he really wanted to read these, it was pretty important that he got his runes down to a key soon, it wouldn’t be long before he had to leave this place in search of his home al thought while he was there, he could most likely get some old things he missed from his home. Before he knew it he felt himself moving towards the person who needed help for the loose animals or at least towards where it said on the paper where he would be. He sighed slowly moving towards the place once he got there he would notice some man drawing onto bits of paper these was seals which anyone could use once placed onto a target they would pass out, these ones was aimed for the pigs that had gotten out. Allen sighed and moved over to him before saying softly “ Hello I got your chore request, or mission whichever you prefer to call it, and I would like to inform you I am here to help now do you have any information on where they went and if they are still within the city? And do you have any tools in which will help me capture them?” Allen paused and watched the man finish the last bit of paper before wiping his head slowly; he would look up towards Allen and say softly towards him “Oh you are Allen? You are much shorter than I thought you would be, but yes they seemingly headed towards the academy I do not know where else they went honestly. But here take these tags it’s not that hard to use them just stick them on the target and they will activate only sticking it to them that might be an Issue.” Allen would nod taking the tags, once he took the tags he would run towards the direction of the academy, he was much faster than he had been within the last few months his body responded only slightly better but he would tack this down to the increased amount of food that he had been eating. It only took him about 30 minutes of running and walking to get to some tracks on the floor, they was clearly pig tracks, he would slowly follow them along the floor, as he did he would blink slightly spotting one of the pigs, it looked like it was eating from one of the stalls near the academy, Allen kept low and slow something he used while hunting in the forest when he was alone. After a few moments the pig stopped chomping down on its food and Allen jumped at it while he jumped he would reach into his pocket and pull out one of the tags slapping it onto the pig as he went passed it rolling softly and a short distance before standing up. The pig snorted a little and was about to run away when it passed out. That’s right 1 down 4 more to go. It took Allen some time to find the next Pig in fact it took him too long it felt like it had taken hours of tracking the tracks which by now had been stood on by people and were hard to read. Being as hard to read as it was it wouldn’t be worth following them as it was more than likely going to lead him to a dead end. Despite this luck would have it some people were talking about a pig ‘horde’ which had come through here, it was rather lucky! Allen would head to the direction they was talking about and true enough there would be a pig sitting there trying to open one of the bins repeating the same method he managed to not only capture the pig but slap the tag onto it as well. Two down 3 more to go, he was nearly done now. Allen would keep searching in fact he had now gone to the academy and not found any signs of the remaining pigs until he heard screams heading in the direction of the screams he would see two of the pigs, this would be hard. He would sneak up on them and try to slap the sleeping tags onto the pigs however it didn’t work, in fact it had only gotten a single pig. The other ran around and away from Allen which resulted in Allen chasing it, he quickly jumped up some crates which were nearby and ran over the rooftops of some of the stalls while chasing the pig, he would have to get up higher so he could jump onto the pig and take it down. Grabbing onto a low hanging pole he would swing up and land onto a rooftop running and jumping along them keeping his eyes on the prize and the rooftop within moment someone had scared the pig right down a T junction. Allen would then jump off the roof sliding down the opposite wall before jumping off it and slapping the tag onto the pig taking that one down too, there now was only a single pig remaining. This last one wouldn’t be a problem however Allen was taking a break and getting a drink he would buy a bottle of water and place it to his lips drinking it slowly thinking where would the last one be, the others had been in areas around food and if they was all here maybe the last one would be somewhere with food too? Then it sprung into his mind, it was at the Ramen shop! He would head over there slowly but surely, and once he got there he would take his time looking around surely enough there was the pig, chowing down on the remains of left over Ramen. Allen snuck up on the pig slapping the final tag onto the last pig finally his task was done, he would slowly sigh and wait with the pig, while waiting with the pig he would order some ramen eating some while he waited , he was hungry after all he skipped breakfast! Thinking over what he had done and how much work he had done he was hoping the pay would be decent after all this was a ton of work to do for a measly 10,000 Ryo. It had to be at least double that, just to pay for his time that was. Soon the man who needed the pigs returned came up to the store with a cart 4 pigs were inside of the cart, the man picked up the last pig and tied its feet before throwing it into the back of the cart he would sigh and say to Allen “ well that was hard work kid, you must have taken your time, however it seems like they was also pretty damn hard to find, you mind if I give you 20,000 Ryo?”Allen would nod his head and proceed to eat some more of his Ramen the pig owner put 20,000 Ryo onto the side of the bar as well as paying for the Ramen for Allen “ enjoy your meal Allen.” He would smile and nod as the pig man walked away with the cart Allen was rather happy with the payment, it was great he finally felt like he was getting somewhere in this Village. | words 2,015 tags open notes xxx chakra 100% |
