RUNES where's my leaf special?  Allen had been very busy today and the candy store was pretty close to the weapon store so the walk from one to the other wouldn’t take him too long he had a long time to think about things today such as the way people acted and how the town worked. It seemed like the town lived on people doing chores but how many of the students in the town actually did chores right now it seemed like he was the only one doing any. It was most likely not the case however since if he was there would be a ton of missing things in the village things that he didn’t do like window cleaning or tree trimming come to mention it did anyone have any of those jobs? It didn’t matter right now he was going to the candy store in search of something he would like which was rare he didn’t actually like candy that much it was mostly due to the fact it served little to no value in the wild so why would he keep it if he found it. On top of that what did it actually give the person who ate it other than bad teeth, nothing that’s correct. He didn’t care much for sweet things however normal food had to be good tasting after all you mess with Allens food and he’l put a horse’s head in your bed although he most likely couldn’t even find a horse now. By the time he got to the candy shop inside the store seemed to be alive with people moving boxes and other things around he wounded what was going on maybe it was the fact people was moving around this time at night he thought something was going on, he wasn’t 100% sure however. He would tap his hand against the door as he opened it looking inside making sure that everything was okay he blinked seeing the staff put things on shelves and the Store manager issuing orders to people, he would sigh softly was this going to be another chore? He would put his hand up into the air making sure that he was seen and he wasn’t in the way, the manager nodded and pointed to the counter. It took Allen some time to get there, dodging and weaving between the staff members he would put his hands on the desk and wait for the manager to get to him. It didn’t take long before the manager threw himself down on the chair nearest the desk he would take some time to breathe and relax drinking some water and day dreaming for a bit and nearly forgetting about Allen for a moment. He paused and nodded his head once he snapped back into the stores chaos it didn’t matter however Allen had come here to get some candy, it would appear however he would not get any. He spoke softly towards the manager and calmly saying to him “Is there anything I can do to help you seem so busy here I do hope I can help, I’ve done tons of chores today but I don’t mind helping you out for now, you seemed stressed and that’s something that I really do not want.” The shop manager looked surprised at this such a young kid would help him and he would nod his head thinking for a moment he would try to think where this kid could help much, it didn’t matter where it was anywhere could help he would pause and say to him softly “I think I can give you something to do could you line up the products into the right sections the boxes are already in the right section all you have to do is stock the right things in the right places.” Allen would nod and reply back politely “ sure I can, I don’t mind, so if you want to lead me to the isle I can work on it.” The manager led him to the isle with the boxes clearly marked on them what was in there Allen would read them and nod and instantly start stocking the shelves, as he was doing so the manager said to him “ oh and once you are done come back to me and I will pay you 10,000 Ryo that’s the average im told for student chores, so that will do you right?” Allen smiled and nodded as he carried on stacking the shelves, as he did so the Manager would walk off and sit at his desk taking a well-earned rest Allen spent some time doing this and it was quiet boring work, however it gave him time to think about things. While he was working he would think about the glass in which some of these products was in and how it was made he was thinking it was sand and fire the sand was heated and then pulled out and cooled quickly in order for it to be like it was, but then what made sand? This gave him more to think about as he was starting to think about runes yet again, sometimes his power was a curse in that he often found himself idly thinking about runes without noticing it. It didn’t take long to finish his task however and the shelves were lined with a large amount of the contents from the respective boxes. After this he would walk up to the manager and nod showing that he was done. After he did that the manager would follow Allen and view the shelving and how he had stocked it, it seemed like he had done it well enough for the manager smiled and reached into his pocket stating this to Allen “ So you did such a good job for your first time I can see why some of the town is talking about your chore work it seems it is pretty high quality for the pay that is I would pay you more if I could but rules are rules” He would hand the money over to Allen who nodded his head and smiled bowing slightly and then leaving for the weapon store. . | words 1,035 tags open notes xxx chakra 100% |
