Allen would be walking towards the general store as he did he would head towards the stall area he had been told about the jobs going there after all and maybe he could get another chore after all he only had a little time left before he had to head towards the weapon store. More money would give him more to spend whilst he was there, which no matter how you looked at it was great, even if he didn’t spend it all there it wouldn’t matter, he could spend it on other things. As he walked towards the stalls the light seemed slightly cooler and not as humid as it had been, in general this made things so much easier to do now Allen felt like he could move freely and was able to do so without feeling so hot and bothered from simple movements. It took him some time before he reached the stalls and once he did he would browse some of the wares that they had on sale while looking for the stall which was hopefully advertising that they needed help he had found a drink stall which he purchased a small bottle of water from. He promptly opened it and drank its contents before gingerly placing it into the bin nearby however he would notice a lot of trash that people had just dropped near the bin and that had blown around the stalls there wasn’t too much but there was more than enough to make the place look untidy. It seemed a lot of people forgot the bins was even there however this was just normal human nature and quiet often happened in places where humans took things for granted. He would soon appear at the stand with a notice board reading it slowly as he was reading he would notice that all they wanted was someone to clean the street and he had to apply to one of the stalls further down he would quickly head there not running but walking briskly as the heat wasn’t too since the tree was blocking out more of the sunlight than it was a few hours ago. He would walk towards a stand that had someone at it and bow his head slightly once he lifted his head he would speak quietly to man behind the stall“ Hello I have read the board is this the stall which I report to? For the cleaning the street that is, I assume the chore is still up given the state of the street?” The man would finished packing away some of the stock he had, looking up towards Allen before saying to him “why yes we do, if you can bear with me while I finish packing this box ill bring a bag out for you to use and once its full just drop it near this stall for me, ill dispose of it on my way home. It helps me keep the place clean you see.” Allen nodded in response and waited for the man. The stall owner proceeded to fill the box with some more of the stock from the stall before loading it onto a cart nearby he would then fiddle around on the cart and return to Allen with a black back, he would then extend one finger as if to say ‘wait’ to him. Once again he would disappear into the back of the cart looking for something, it took a few minutes but he returned with an apron and proceeded to hand it to Allen “ This is so you don’t get too dirty kid, inside the pocket at the front, there is a glove for your other hand so you don’t get dirty.” Allen smiled placing the apron and the glove on before opening the bag and walking around he started at this end first, working his way up one side of the stalls slowly but surely his bag got full by the time he had made it to the top of the right isle the bag was nearly half full. The return section took half the time it was surprisingly less dirty and trash filled than the right side, once he had finished he tied up the bag and placed it near the stall. He however wasn’t contented with this job and he would replace the bin bags within the bins with new ones he would tie up the bin bags as he got them and pile them up near the stall in which he was ordered to place the first bag once he was done and the bins had new bags has been placed inside of them he would wait near the stall for the man to come back. It seemed like forever before he returned and once he did he Allen smiled and said towards the man “ sorry about the extra bags however I figured it best that I empty the bins and replace the bin liners of them too, I felt it was that while you didn’t say it, it was something that I should have done. I know it results in more bags for you however least everything is clean. “ he smiled and waited for the man’s reply it took some time before he replied he was impressed, Allen had not only done what he was asked but he had been had also been proactive and worked out ways to better his work. The male was certainly impressed with Allens work. The male reached into his pocket pulling out a Ryo note he would pause and hand towards Allen the smile on his face was followed up by him speaking to Allen “ that was mighty fine proactive work you did there I greatly respect your work, I’ve seen you’ve been working hard around here all day so here take this money and go to the candy store or something treat yourself to something nice, you should enjoy the money you have earned today.” Allen would nod taking the money and opening his wallet before pushing the note into the wallet bowing his head and heading off towards the candy store for a treat, he had earned it after all. | words 1,037 tags open notes xxx chakra 100% |
