Memories last for a lifetime
Allen would wake up from the bed in Rina’s home, his body moving as he stretched and slowly sneak around the house to the bathroom, upon doing so he would take a quick shower, drying himself off and slowly putting on his outfit for the day, which was his standard clothing. A black pair of Trousers, his hard leather boots slowly slid up his body and into the correct places, he would then fasten a belt around his waist followed by a second and a third which remained dragged around his left leg and attached to the right leg, where the belt was that is. After doing that he would slip on his Chainmail shirt which was long sleeved just like his normal shirt which had a ripped sleeve he sighed slightly wishing that he hadn’t had done the damage to it. To complete his outfit he placed the black glove with the symbol of the hidden leaf upon it onto his blackened hand which caused him to complete his outfit.
With his outfit done he proceed to literally run into the room which was now ‘his’ and right the rune ‘repair’ on his shirt before infusing it with a small amount of charka this allowed him to repair his shirt and have it back to how it was the day before. He took his map and proceeded to leap out of the window scaling down the wall and then landing softly on the ground he had much to explore today; he had only a fraction of the village done so far!
It only took a small amount of time before he crossed the general goods store, and the map drawing took a back seat, not because he was bored or because he had interest in the shop but more that he was running out of ink, and needed more, having money from Rina he would most likely use this getting supplies and stuff for his research into elements. He took a small amount of time to browse the contents of the store till he found what he wanted, ink. Taking it up to the till the shop keeper who happened to be the manager and the only other person within this building spoke to him softly and somewhat questioningly “Hey kid, I haven’t seen you around here before, but that doesn’t matter right now, I have a chore I would like you to do, if you want it the chore is worth that ink pot and some extra Ryo on the side. All I want you to do is to take this receipt of sale to the Ramen store owner, you know where that is right?” after speaking Allen looked up at the male manager and smiled slightly he was trying to be polite and all “Yes sir I sure know where it is, and if you are offering me this ink pot and extra Ryo on the side I would be more than happy to take the job. Even if it is only to the Ramen shop, and yes I know where it is Rina took me the other day, does some nice Ramen its missing something though a town special.”
After that the General store manager smiled and disappeared into the back he was some time in which Allen was thinking, did the store manager really plan to pay him Ryo for doing this? The shop in which he had to go to was only about 30 minutes away if you took the pathways. He would briefly look at his map he thought he could make it there quicker if he used the rooftops however decided that he didn’t want to use all of his energy in a single chore, as there was more than likely a ton of chores to do around town, and if he could get enough money together he would be able to buy the Ninja tools he needed to join the academy, or at least fake being in the academy of which Rina had mentioned yesterday. As soon as he had finished this line of thought he would be alerted to the store manager re-entering the room with a soft cough, Allen then looked up and smiled waiting to hear any other details that was needed in order to complete this chore.
The store manager spoke softly saying whilst holding a box towards Allen“Inside this box is two things, one the Receipt of sales I want you to drop off to the Ramen store manager, secondly is a payment notice to give you 10,000 Ryo on successful delivery of this package, and is that a fair price for your time and labour? I would do it myself however I am busy and the store will be full up soon!” as the man spoke Allen thought to himself ‘Bullshit, the store is as empty as a brothel with Doku inside of it.’ However he wouldn’t let this show instead he would look at the manager taking the box slowly and carefully before bowing his head in respect “ it’s a fine payment for a fair and honest Job.” He would then smile and proceed to tuck the box under one arm as he moved away from the store and proceeded to walk towards the location of the ramen shop one arm safely tucking the box into its place and holding it there whilst the other held the map that he would follow to the ramen shop.
After a few moments walking or rather around 30 minutes of twists and turns he arrived outside the Ramen shop, which he still figured needed the leaf special. He would walk inside holding the package and seemingly no one was inside, promptly the young man placed the box on the desk and then hit the bell and waited for a few moments. He would then smile and wait after some time the ramen store manager would come out and smile towards Allen speaking slightly towards him “ did you drop this box of for me?” Allen would nod saying softly “ yes i did it is from the General Store Manager it is a receipt of sale if you could open it and confirm receiving the package that would be great.” The Ramen store manager then opened the package up reading both of the notes before handing Allen his payment and stating “ There you go Kid, if you need any more work come see me later on ill have a Chore for you to do too, thanks for the speedy delivery.”
With that Allen would be off, looking for either more chores or more time to finish his map which ever was the closest and best for him to do at the time.
