"Little" Ieyasu was just napping from utter exhaustion, ya know, Like ya do. Dreaming the dreams of children, being Kamina or Being a hero in some other right. Ieyasu had dreams of being accepted by his family and village, being loved by a beautiful busty young woman. It seemed like everything was going good for dream Ieyasu, until something dark happened. In his dreams everyone started to run into the dark and leave him, turning their backs once again. His happy dream turned into a nightmare in half a heartbeat. His personal fears of rejection and inadequacy taking control of his dreamscape.

When She hit the ground,Ieyasu was up, and boy howdy was he ready. His hands filled with Shuriken, ready for deadly use. His eyes hadn't 100% adjusted to being awake but his body was a finely tuned machine. The time it took his eyes to adjust was about as much time as it took for him to realize who it was that had fallen. The 8 or so Shuriken were silently but not subtly put back into there holsters. The sheet he was using for his cloak was on the ground next to him,having fallen off long before the women fell. Contemplating the situation for a second, Ieyasu looked over at the clan leaders sister and did what he had been raised to do. He bowed his head and showed his respect to the ruling house of the Uchiha, as any warrior would. Kaede-sama, Are you ok? He asked in earnest.

He had heard the older members of the clan talking about the leaders sister and how she wasn't a true Uchiha like her sister. For a while he didn't understand why anyone would say that. With so few of the clan members activating the Sharingan how can people presume to mock someone for it. As far as Ieyasu could tell, she was an exceptional ninja in her own right and didn't seem to need the aid of the Sharingan. If anything, In Ieyasu's eyes that made her all the more of an Uchiha. The eyes are a genetic perk, but when Ieyasu thought about it in regards to Kaede, he came to a strange thought. What if the Sharingan only awakened in ninja's that NEEDED it and Kaede was a truer Uchiha for not having it. Needless to say Ieyasu respected her a great deal,though only secretly.

With his left hand Ieyasu reached inside his Kimono and pulled out 2 more apple's, his last two. Breakfast? He offered with a single word and a simultaneous joke about their current situation. He absently took out a kunai and started to peel one of the apples, thinly slicing the skin from the apple. Taking his time to leave no "meat" on the skin, a daring and improbable feat even for a genin. Maybe medics could do it with some measure of ease but that wasn't Ieyasu's particular forte. He was good with his Kunai but he was much better with his Shuriken, as any good Uchiha would be.

Ieyasu ate his apple, core and all as he sat quietly, speaking between bites of apple.I wake up early to train Kaede-Sama. he stopped to take another couple of bites from his apple. Making sure to put the peels from it into his kimono pocket for later. Ieyasu enjoyed the addition of apple skins to his tea , so he saved them just for that. I just became a Genin and I'm not a fan of being the low man on the totem poll. He said before he took another bite of his apple, though this time a part of the core went with it and the boy seemed to give zero fucks about it.Though he did make sure to spit the seeds into his pouch as well to save for later. Maybe he would plant them maybe he wouldn't who knows. he took a few more bites of his apple to finish it off entirely, core and all. So i 'm training. he stated again plainly.

Ieyasu wasn't the kind of kid to make waves or try and force friendships. In fact he wasn't much of a people person at all. He would much rather just keep his head down, work his hardest and train in private than try and stand out, though some people couldn't help themselves and of course Kaede was one of those kinds of people as best he could tell. Her outfits and hair could draw the eye of a blind man and the way she spoke left no amount of hearing impairment could save you. She was just one of those people that stood out just by being who she was. Ieyasu wasn't like that, not one bit. He was the exact opposite in fact.

People never seemed to notice him, or his efforts. He succeeded beyond his peers and no one even noticed him gradate a year early. While others are fed compliments for their accomplishments he got nothing. Already deemed a failure by his parents, they have discarded him emotionally in favor of their new born. It wasn't an easy life for the young boy but he kept with it, never gave less than his 100 percent. His resolve was the kind of things legends are made of and if he knew how much that would come in handy, it would make him happy to know it served a purpose.

What bring you here this early Kaede-Sama, did you honestly sleep up there? HE asked, surprising himself a little bit. sure he was curious and wanted to know but he hadn't intended on actually asking. Maybe it was her personal " I have no fucks to give" attitude or maybe it was because he was woken up so abruptly and wasn't really awake. He didn't feel right about asking her questions, she was the clan leaders sister after all. she was next in line for uchiha seat of power and for the most part wasn't liked because of that. Ieyasu guessed one day he might understand but that day wasn't today

Ieyasu looked over at Kaede as she finished up her food and spoke. He wasn't much of a talker himself so for her to keep talking to fill the silences was a welcome refrain from his normal day. Normally it was just him and his thoughts. The self doubt, the anxiety and the private pain of never being noticed all fueled Ieyasu when he trained, it was how he got rid of whatever evil thoughts he had. Sure it left him weak and tired most of the time so he was usually picked on. He never fought back or made remarks, he didn't have the energy. It was just his lot in life for now but Ieyasu knew he was meant for greatness!! He knew he was meant to conquer the world, he just had to get strong enough first.

Which is why he trained, but of course he wasn't going to tell her that.I train because it's the best course of action to reach my end goal he said kind of coldly. He had been raised an Uchiha Warrior and as such he wasn't prone to outbursts or telling secrets ,or anything else, about himself really.Even to members of his own clan, whom he loved, knew as little about him as possible. Ieyasu was just a very private person and that came through in a lot of things. People will tell themselves whatever they want to hear He nodded in agreement with her.

Ieyasu was still regaining his strength from the work out he just had and being woken up a bit too early. It was fine, he was used to not functioning at 100%. She scolded him for his formalities, to which he just smiled polity and nodded. He didn't care one way or the other. The only reason he addressed her like that in the first place was out of respect, not formality. Yes Kaede, I understand. He responded with simply. Their was nothing really more to say about it. Well as you can see, It's as good a place for a nap as any. he said joking, dryly, about himself.
