The morning sun was only starting to touch the night sky, lightening the black into a navy blue. A big splash cuts through the night silence and awakens sleeping birds. A small head of thick ,wild black hair erupts from the water a midst the waves from the splash. For the first time in a while Ieyasu was in the water for the purpose of getting clean and not having fun. He always got freshly clean on days he was going to so some intense training. The cold waters woke him up and a good swim was a perfect warm up. In the morning no one was around the docks generally so when he got out of the water no one was around to see him stretch and finish his warm ups. Push up and squats in nothing put his birthday suit, unencumbered by his kimono, which he washed last night and was drying in a tree near by.
Walking over to the tree Ieyasu pulled his Kimono down and put all his weapons back in their pockets and put it on. Once on, Ieyasu was off at a sprint, not maxing out but at a sustainable speed. He went strait to the interior wall of the entire village. It wasn't a short run but he was completely fresh so a run like this wont be that big a deal but he'll have to rest up once he gets there. Until then, he dodged around and fought his shadow. Each punch he made he reacted to an imaginary counter he tried to counter himself. On occasion, if he had the room, he would throw himself to the ground and roll back up to his feet to simulate a retreating battle and a failed counter. Ieyasu knew he wasn't naturally gifted like the rest of his family but he knew they lack something he had, they lacked his pure heart and spirit.
It was only a few miles but by the time Ieyasu reached the wall he was covered in scrapes and dirt from his various times throwing himself to the ground. He didn't do it so he could break his fall, he really fell. He trained as real as possible so he wouldn't be caught off guard in a real fight. He didn't care too much if he got a little dirty or skuffed up in the process.Once at the wall Ieyasu took an apple from his kimono and sat down against the wall. Shining the apple on his kimono before he takes a bit out of it, taking the time to gather himself after his warm up. He knew the intense stuff was only about begin. Reaching up and pulling down his own cloak of invisibility he revealed his hidden training gear: a log with 2 holes big enough for his hands to fit.
Well Loggy, It's just me and you for the next few hours He said to the log as he put his hands in the holes and hoisted it up with audible struggle. The log had been carved down little by little to be just enough weight for him that its a constant struggle but he can still hold it for a while.Either way this wasn't entirely meant to be lifted like normal weights.Hoisting it chest level so his arms were baring the weight.
Now came the hard part. Ieyasu bent his knees and lifted the log from his chest ten times. Each rep accompanied by a bend of the knee. This was the work out part the part that he did everything to prepare for. The strength it took for him to lift that log while doing a squat had him dripping sweat. Each rep carried an audible grunt that helped him hoist the log over his head and back down. The work out was intense, every part of his body needed to work in unison to make this happen. His arms and chest lifted the log, his abs stabilized his core and his legs squatted. Every piece of him worked to complete a single goal. He continued to do reps for about 45 mins before his strength ran out and he had to drop loggy to the ground.
Ieyasu let his body collapse against the wall, digging a sweaty apple from a pocket in his sweat soaked kimono. With out any kind of hesitation or cleaning Ieyasu hungrily gobbled down what would be his meal for the rest of the day. Too tired to try and go back to the compound, he decided he would just nap here for a while. Taking the sheet used for his cloak of invisibility to cover himself and blend him into the wall. Though anyone who saw a snoring wall would start to question a lot of things.
