they say i'm caught up in a dream
Tera was bored.
It was a nice day outside, so she should probably go out and take a walk or train or just do something instead of staying cooped up in the house all day. But there was only so much entertainment to be had in doing those activities on her lonesome; nii-san was working with the council, and she wasn't quite sure where either sister was, so she didn't really have anyone to do anything with at the moment.
Still, she left the house - being sure to leave a note on the table so no one would freak when they couldn't find her, and not thinking to check and see if Nanami or Kikyo had done the same - and headed to the park, sprawling out on the soft grass. Her tail swished through the green blades, brushing them aside.
Sunning counted as doing something, right?
She scratched an itch behind her ear and stretched, ready to fall asleep in the sun's warmth. But that was probably a bad idea, wasn't it?
You never knew who would venture through the park, and what they would think of doing to a cute little sleeping fox girl. She had had the lecture from her older siblings about five million times: don't fall asleep in the park, or on the roof of a building, or anywhere that people frequented.
She only took their lectures seriously about half of the time.
Yeah, this wasn't one of those times. She had considered it for about a second and a half, but then sleepiness overtook her. Tera curled up on her bed of grass and dozed, oblivious to the world around her.
There was no way this could end badly. None at all.
